International Earth Day - 2024

As members of the Peasant Agroecological Roundtable (MAC), an organization led by Caritas of El Salvador, we were selected to organize the commemorative event for International Earth Day. Held at the San Andres farm, Tepetitan, department of San Vicente, members attended from communities that are part of the MAC and new members from the Association of Base Communities Monsignor Oscar Arnulfo Romero.

 
 

First Aid

We kicked off 2024 with a visit from the representatives at the Salvadoran Red Cross of Zacatecoluca. They gave a first aid workshop for our scholarship students where they learned techniques to attend to emergencies such as burns, asphyxia, fractures, use of first aid and stretchers, among others.

 
 

2023 Scholarship Meetup

We were so lucky to be able to participate in the 2023 Scholarship Student Meetup hosted by the Center for Exchange and Solidarity or CIS for short. At the event, the students discussed topics all related to Human Rights.

 
 

2019 Scholarship Meetup

During the summer of 2019, five of our scholarship students had the opportunity to attend a scholarship meetup hosted by The Center for Exchange and Solidarity, CIS, which was called “Walking with Equity to Transform our Community”.
