Leadership

We implemented the leadership branch of the Knowledge is Power Program with the idea for our scholarship students to use the skills that they have learned in the workshops and apply them to community development projects.

Each of our students are required to do 8 hours of community development projects per month. In addition to those 8 hours, our scholarship students also participate in monthly workshops focused around the workforce. For example, one year the focus was on public speaking; another the workshops focused on building technological skills.

Currently, in 2024, these workshops are focused on financial education and entrepreneurship.
